Get your eSIM

Select the data plan that suits your needs and purchase it. It will then appear on your “My eSIM” page, where you will find all the purchased eSIMs.

STEP 3

Install your eSIM

Simply scan your QR code and install your eSIM. All the instructions will be sent to you by email. You are now ready to browse the web in Japan!

How long does it take to receive the eSIM?

When should I set up my eSIM?

[South Korea Unlimited Plan]
We recommend pre-installing in Japan.
*At this time, activation may not complete or the correct phone number may not display; it will automatically update after arriving in South Korea, so please do not delete the eSIM.

[Other Countries/Regions]
Activation after arrival at your destination is recommended.
Pre-installation is possible, but activation will not complete within Japan.
Installing domestically may cause errors or malfunctions, so for first-time or inexperienced eSIM users, we recommend starting setup after arriving at your destination.

[Asia/Global Roaming Plan]
Activation after arrival at your destination is recommended.
If Japan is included in the list of usable countries, activation completed in Japan (connection to a Japanese network) will also count as service start, so please be aware.

What should I do if I can't set it up with the QR code?

There are two methods for eSIM activation:
1) QR code setup
2) Manual setup

When setting up with a QR code:

SIM lock on the device: Ensure that your device is SIM unlocked and ready for use. eSIMs are only compatible with SIM-unlocked and carrier-unlocked devices.
Check if scanning is done correctly: Ensure that the QR code is scanned correctly, with proper alignment and focus.
Check QR code compatibility: Verify that your smartphone is an eSIM compatible device.
Internet connection environment: Ensure a stable WiFi connection during the eSIM installation.
Automatic installation: Some smartphones automatically install eSIMs without confirmation. Check the "Order History" section on the "Purchase History" page.
